A Day with Family...

Mom invited Rich, Chris, Karen, Barry, Jeff, and I to see MiMi Blais perform ragtime piano in Sacramento. Jeff didn't go, but I made a day of it... left the house around 6 a.m. and got home around 2 a.m. It was a nice day... just LONG!

A Big Day...

I will be leaving soon to start my BIG day out... first stop Walmart in Davis to return a computer... then off to Davis to brunch with Janet... then to another Walmart to look at sewing machines with Chris and Rich and Janet (and Consumer Reports in hand)... then off to Sacramento to meet up with Mom, Karen, and Barry and attend a Rag-Time Piano Concert... then to UC Davis Med Center to visit our friends who are there... then to dinner at Macaroni Grill in Roseville... then drive home. It will be a long day. I am bringing a pillow for sleeping on the side of the road if needed. Looking forward to seeing everyone and having fun.

Obviously there was a storm brewing... the sky was solid clouds around 4 in the afternoon, and all of a sudden they parted and the sun peeked through. It was very cool, and this picture actually shows what we were seeing...

Then I'm off to Grass Valley to Mom's house for Christmas! Yes, a little late, but oh well... at least we're getting together!
