Since I am driving to Sacramento on Thursday I thought a "scenic by-way" would be ever so nice. That website does not have any such thing listed for my journey. I, of course, consider the Colfax highway sort of a scenic byway but it does not really count - no matter what I do end up on good old 80 - although I sometimes do take old Highway 40 from Newcastle to Rocklin as it is the Lincoln Highway and that same highway went through Ames, Iowa where I went to college. So, sentimental bypasses should count - right? M
