Pelicans... AMAZING Pelicans...



Just north of the little town of Westport on 101, we parked at the top of a bluff to enjoy the view ... and soon notice the PELICANS flying and dive-bombing back and forth right beneath us! It was so beautiful... and I had so much fun taking pictures. The pictures below are my favorites out of around 20 shots. I did NOT crop before posting... these were done by zooming in and getting lucky! I thought about videotaping and freeze framing later, but what would the challenge be in that? We spent a GLORIOUS day along the coast... the sun was intense and it was around 65 degrees... perfect weather!

You DON'T need Rich's camera -- your shots are fantastic, wow! You have missed your calling! The picture of the supports beneath the bridge is "award winning" material, too. Way to go!
