I have begun swimming at the Redwood Health Club in Ukiah. I started two weeks ago attending the water class for senior citizens... and the OLD LADIES kick my behind! They're amazing! I swam a couple of laps in the indoor pool (it's very warm and very short)... and then decided to give the outside pool a try. Thursday, May 28th, I swam ten laps (round trip) in the outside pool. I found out after finishing that nine laps equal 1/4 mile... WOO-HOO for me! I did ten again on Friday... and so begins my quest to feel better and get stronger and have less pain in my life! See everyone at Greg's Graduation!

Richardson's Grove

No one has jumped on the phone to say they will be joining us at the Grove this weekend... but we'll be there in our favorite campsite #23 (and we also have #25 next door reserved). Feel free to surprise us and just show up... we'd love to see you. We're going up Thursday night and staying until Monday. Not sure who else is coming...

Greg, you look like your Dad!

This is one of the pictures from the negatives Dad found and scanned... wowwy-zowwy, Greg, this picture could just as well be YOU! I really like this one a lot. Hmmm... maybe it should be on the Remembering Russell Blog, too.

New Water System

I am working at home today... while a new water system is created outside! Turns out the old system was NOT treating the water correctly... and our steel-cased well has a LOT of iron in it that needs to go away. It's so exciting! I'm still sick, but feeling a lot better today. It's our 29th wedding anniversary this Sunday, so I'm thinking of running away to the coast for the day tomorrow... hmmmmmmm... sounds so relaxing! Next weekend we're still going to Richardson's Grove to our favorite site (number 23) and one next door. We reserved Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and anyone who wants to join us is welcome. Just bring your tent! Hope you all have a great weekend.

Well, it's a stunning day! The weather is perfect and everything is green and blooming... and KICKING my tail end! I don't believe in allergies, so this is tough to accept. Oh well. Nothing much new here. Still working and still not doing the computer at home (too much computer = sore neck/arm/shoulder/etc.). We're not doing much for Mother's Day, since we thought we'd be out of town. Again, oh well. I do wish all the Mom's a happy day... even if I can't be with any of you! I'm trying really hard to be at Greg's Choir Concert this coming Wednesday, and looking forward to seeing everyone there (hint, hint). TTFN!
